Cem Vardarci put a smile on your face
Cem Vardarci who is 21 years old is defeating autism with University based music education in Izmir Turkey
He has an amazing gift!
As a special student in YASAR UNIVERSITY Faculty of Fine Arts Department of Music,
He learns how to play violin and piano while he attends to the Research and Developement Center by having Special Talent Scholarship after taking the required Special Skill Test of Yaşar University.
Cem is dyslexic and was the only candidate to enter a university after recovering autism, needed two more scores to pass the University Entering Test in Turkey in 2010.
Though his willing is contagious Mr.Selçuk YAŞAR (Yasar University Founder and Honorary Director) did a favor by giving him the opportunity to teach, guide and mentor him
To continue to encourage his God-given talent He has asked to all music teachers "Here is your ultimate challenge".
And gave him a year before he's standing in front of the National Youth Symphonic!
They hope this might influence his career choices in the future
“My dreams have come true” says Cem and meanwhile makes quick improvement.
He wishes to ease his communication with people.
His story began when his Grandparent pharmacist Nesrin Berker was suspicious about his progress in childhood who eagerly made him diagnosed as autistic-like.
That time not enough information and not enough terapist could be found so the family had to order books from states and invited therapists from all over the world.
Then his sister Psychologist Miss Gülser Vardarcı with possibly a life changing event found that he has exceptional rhythm and acute musical ear.
So his Sister,Mom & Dad eagerly exposed him to music.
That was the turning point.
He obviously is full of musical talent
He is pretending to play with his face and his body movements to show every dynamic in the music.
What a great role model?
Parents like them , if you are not already saving for your child like Cem to attend a top level Conservatory of Music, you are seriously missing the boat.
