Chicken Soup
My son Cem is %98 recovered from autism:)
We had very though time during his treatment process.
Cem had started to talk when he was 5 yo. with very intensive therapy.
We live in Izmir/Turkey and we have decided to come to US to Mary Bolles's clinic to have a specific sensory learning treatment which we beleived it was a miracle.
Then we have prepared for the trip.
When we were on board in the Turkish Air Lines flight he had met the lady who was the chief of the staff and he had greeted the lady as "Mr.Hostess,how are you?".
My son is extraordinary handsome and noone can figure out from his outlooking that he is an autistic, so the lady was shocked in the very first moment how Cem couldn't realize that she is not a man but a woman.
I guess Cem knew that she was a woman but he couldn't find the correct word from the vocabulary and called her Mr.instead of Mrs.
From time to time we tease him with this story.
